The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for analyzing and optimizing enterprise systems, improving performance, and developing technical scripts and tools to support scalable IT operations. This role owns core systems infrastructure, leads medium-sized technical projects, and designs and implements solutions across device management and identity platforms. In addition, the role provides hands-on operational and end-user support to ensure reliable day-to-day IT services.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration and enterprise technical support
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and enterprise infrastructure concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and drive projects to completion
  • Physical capability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs and support in-office hardware deployments
  • Demonstrated experience administering Identity and Access Management platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID and related access controls
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting complex hardware, software, and enterprise system issues
  • Advanced proficiency supporting and managing both Windows and macOS environments at scale
  • Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Jamf, Microsoft Intune, and device lifecycle management
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing IT inventory and asset tracking processes
  • Experience administering Google Workspace and enterprise collaboration tools
  • Familiarity with IT service management platforms such as Jira and workflow automation tools
  • Practical experience with PowerShell scripting, macOS Terminal administration, and domain controller technologies, including Active Directory fundamentals

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize enterprise systems to improve performance, reliability, and scalability across identity, endpoint, and collaboration platforms
  • Design, implement, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Windows Autopilot within the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Administer and scale Apple device management infrastructure using Jamf
  • Manage enterprise collaboration and productivity systems within Google Workspace
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize IT service workflows and integrations in Atlassian Jira
  • Develop and maintain scripts, automation, and tools to streamline administration and reduce manual effort
  • Manage enterprise application configurations, integrations, and access logic
  • Own and maintain core IT systems and infrastructure
  • Lead medium-sized technical projects from planning through implementation
  • Troubleshoot complex escalations and implement long-term solutions
  • Ensure system uptime, performance, security, and operational stability
