POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for technical strategy, vetting, evaluation, architecting, design, configuration, implementation, administration, optimization, incident prevention, capacity planning and maintenance of the companys Global IT enterprise. Including On Premise or Cloud Data Centers, DR Sites, Company HQ and Offices Collocated, Hybrid or Cloud hosted. Responsible for day to day technical management including vendor technical management. Adherence to all company IT governance policies and best practices. Creation of detailed Project plans for all initiatives including ones that can impact production and other environments. Position will resolve or coordinate resolution the most technically difficult problems including all that require in-depth and complete evaluation of all and varying factors. Support and maintain company Systems environments. Collaboratively interface with Development team and SQL DBA. Act as the final technical escalation point. Train and mentor Jr. Sys Admin and Service Desk support team. REQUIRED SYS ADMIN JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Multiple Data Centers environment experience required On Premise, Hybrid and Cloud. Data Centers Technical Management experience required. Implement, optimize and maintain primarily Nutanix based clusters minimum version 5.10 software. Secondarily VMware environments minimum version 6.1 software Minimum Server 2016 experience; Minimum PC OS 2010 experience. Active Directory, DNS and DHCP 2016 extensive experience. Exchange 2016 Server administration and support dual server for high availability. Microsoft M365 Hybrid Environment Technical Management experience On Premise and Cloud. Citrix and Citrix Netscaler farms (version 7.5.1000 or higher). SharePoint minimum version 2013. Security and mitigation management. Load Balancing management. Disk and Tape backup management. Software Upgrade Management. Change Management, Patch Management, Incident Management. Asset Management - Commercial software and hardware. CMDB management. Enterprise Monitoring, Alerting and Incident prevention. Retention Management (Disk, Tape and Cloud). Morning Health Check management and reporting. Actively seeks out opportunities to improve existing process, practice, procedure, and technology Develops and maintains operational guidelines for the maintenance and support of Infrastructure. Provide reports for system health, configuration and capacity. Perform routine health checks. Perform root cause analysis of service problems and develop permanent fixes. Delivery of solutions and configurations without impacting users or during approved maintenance windows. Ensure processes are documented and up to date. Knowledge of network and file/print services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, DFS, FRS, etc.). Knowledge and familiarity with computer hardware including PCs, servers, appliances and printers. Knowledge of application packaging and deployment solutions (for both server and end node deployment). Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Scripting/PowerShell experience. Knowledge of Information Security. Other related duties as assigned.
