To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. We are excited to announce an opportunity for the Coyote Effector Test Director (TD) role to join our team in Tucson AZ. The TD will be responsible for performing integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with test planning and/or execution.
  • Experience with Hardware Systems Integration.
  • Experience with test related reviews (I.e. CTS, TRR & ESRB’s)
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Coyote flight test operations or other rapid development programs.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing test data.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Experience with integrating test equipment, telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms.
  • Ability to become certified in explosives handling for 1.1 products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execution of test events cumulating in multiple flight test demonstrations.
  • Perform comprehensive planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of testing activities.
  • Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.
  • Conduct/create documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Engineering Safety Review Boards (ESRB’s).
  • Liaison between the test execution team, customer representatives (when present) and program leads during the preparation and execution of the test events.
  • This position may require up to 10% travel during periods that include field test execution.
