You will be responsible for the monitoring, testing, preventative maintenance, and repair of emergency power infrastructure, including generators, fuel systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), direct current (DC) Battery plants, rectifiers, and automatic transfer switches (ATS). You will ensure these critical systems remain fully operational, leveraging your expertise in electrical troubleshooting, power distribution, and load management to meet specifications and operational procedures at Verizon Network Facilities. Your role will also involve the maintenance and repair of physical facility structures and peripheral systems. As a first responder during network threats or natural disasters, your skills in managing emergency power backup systems will be critical for maintaining network integrity and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
