As an SSD Security Architect, you will play a central role in defining, evolving, and delivering end‑to‑end security architectures for next‑generation data center SSD products. These technologies will be largely centered around industry standards, such as NIST SP 800 series specifications that apply to storage devices, DMTF SPDM, TCG and others. Your areas of ownership will include: (1) defining architectural specifications that capture hardware and firmware requirements for new security features, (2) Partnering with planning organizations to influence product security roadmaps (3) Monitoring and (when necessary) influencing industry specifications, (4) Providing architectural support for security features in development and (5) Collaborating with other Security, hardware and software teams to ensure new security features progress through the product development lifecycle. This is a highly visible role which will require strong communication skills, presenting to senior leaders throughout the organization, and synthesizing inputs from a variety of stakeholders to derive implementable security architectures.
