About The Position
The Stacker The Stacker role is accountable for ensuring the safe and accurate stacking of cartons and boxes. Prepares cartons/boxes for shipping and storage in a timely manner with consistent weight and sealing. Inspects cartons/boxes for quality and reports defective packaging immediately to the supervisor. Support duties also include making sure supplies and materials are available on each line.
Requirements
- Manufacturing/Warehouse experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to apply basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Responsibilities
- Ensures the safe and accurate stacking of cartons and boxes.
- Prepares cartons/boxes for shipping and storage in a timely manner with consistent weight and sealing.
- Inspects cartons/boxes for quality and reports defective packaging immediately to the supervisor.
- Ensures supplies and materials are available on each line.
- Efficiently stack cartons of various sizes and weights onto pallets for storage and shipment.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborates with team members to ensure timely completion of stacking tasks.
- Follow all food and occupational safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
