About The Position

EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED FOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

Assist in reconciling accounts.
Preparing financial statements.
Reconciling bank accounts.
Recording journal entries, investment account recon, personal property return
preparation.
Internal lease and note preparation, real estate lease tracking, some
bookkeeping and administrative duties.
Collect and help prepare workpapers for income tax returns for review and
maintain records.
Assist on projects for the tax and accounting departments as needed.
Perform any other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or 1 chargeable accident within the last three years.
• highly developed verbal and written communications
• knowledge of employment, merchandise and safety procedures

Nice To Haves

• QuickBooks experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience preferred
• workpaper collection and preparation experience preferred
• positive attitude when working with customers
