About The Position

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team full-time, onsite (Monday–Friday) in Doral, FL! If you have a Bachelor’s degree, strong accounting experience, and leadership skills, this could be the perfect fit. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities while leading a small team. This position involves managing general ledger accuracy, overseeing daily AR and AP operations, and supervising our AR and AP Specialists. We’re looking for someone organized, proactive, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

2–4 years of accounting experience (GL, reconciliations, journal entries).
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, structured formulas).
Solid understanding of accounting principles.
Ability to manage, prioritize, and delegate effectively.
Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

Supervise AR and AP Specialists, set priorities, and review work.
Maintain accurate general ledgers and prepare journal entries (accruals, reclasses, adjustments).
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
Complete month-end close tasks and prepare financial statement workpapers.
Manage balance sheet schedules (fixed assets, deposits, advances, intercompany balances).
Oversee AR and AP processes:
Validate entries, coding, and GL classifications.
Monitor AR aging and escalate collection issues.
Review credit applications and customer account reconciliations.
Ensure timely posting of payments and deposits.
Validate Salesforce-to-SAGE sync and rebate calculations.
Review vendor statements, reconcile discrepancies, and monitor cash flow.
Handle corporate credit card imports, bank transfers, and daily bank activity.
Validate sales tax filings and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure proper three-way match for vendor payments.
Review commissions and incentive calculations for accuracy.
