The Staff Accountant supports financial integrity across the organization by assisting with core accounting functions while gaining hands-on experience in cash management and treasury operations.

Requirements

  • One to two years of accounting or finance experience preferred
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting principles; GAAP familiarity a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills

  • GAAP familiarity a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries and support monthly close activities
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records and reconciliations
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, cash monitoring and reporting
  • Support ACH, wire transactions and banking documentation controls
  • Assist with audits, reporting and accounting process improvements
