About The Position

Staff Accountant - Long Beach, CA Twining Holdings, an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection company, is seeking an entry level Staff Accountant for our Long Beach office. This position will involve preparing and monitoring project and corporate budgets, ensuring that all financial transactions related to the financial transactions are accurate and compliant with financial regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Possess excellent analytical skills.
Minimum one year of accounting experience.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Accounting and Operating Team managers to maintain the fiscal integrity of the record.
Working onsite, rotating from our Long Beach and Fountain Valley locations.
Intermediate to proficient skills in MS Excel, Word, and general accounting software programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Public accounting experience and Construction or Professional services experience is a plus but not required.
Deltek ERP experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in monthly financial statements preparation.
Prepare monthly Bank reconciliations and Credit card reconciliations for various entities.
Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as necessary.
Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses.
Prepare general journal entries and maintenance of GL Accounts by compiling and analyzing account detail information, in accordance with US GAAP.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Comply with all companies, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
Cooperate with the other departments to improve company operational activities.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.
Ad hoc projects and analysis as needed.
