Staff Development/Infection Prevention Nurse
About The Position
RN required with completed Infection Preventionist certification. Experience preferred. Hours normally Monday to Friday, weekends as needed Responsible for the training, orientation and skills development of nursing staff members, as well as oversee infection control programs, including vaccine tracking, infection prevention, tracking, trending and implementation of treatment. Training duties include but are not limited to: new hire orientation, annual mandatory training, clinical competencies, policy education, follow-up with new hires to ensure proper training and job satisfaction, assist with the development of nursing related policies/procedures, monitoring of resident care and quality outcomes. This position calls for an enthusiastic and creative individual with experience in staff education, training, and passion for infection prevention.
