Conduct functional architecture investigations and execute trade studies to optimize lighting systems design strategies for cost and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and maintain robust lighting subsystem functional boundary diagrams and interface specifications Drive hardware specification development for lighting control units and related components, collaborating with device owners and supply chain to source components Own and approve Device Transmittals for lighting components, ensuring logical schematics and hardware interfaces are designed to meet all component requirements Lead network interface development for lighting systems, collaborating with software and systems team to deliver network artifacts Lead the feature and function development of systems related to exterior and interior lighting, from feature level to implementation, including function boundary diagrams and interface specifications. Decompose and allocate vehicle performance attributes across supporting functions Develop and mature exterior and interior lighting functional specifications, ensuring alignment with overall vehicle homologation and regulatory requirements. Authoring and releasing feature verification methods including diagnostics Verify feature and electrical performance through system level testing and validation Preparing feature systems and integration TGW, FMVSS and internal customer feedback analysis Established and active employee resource groups
