As an Injection Molding Engineer, you will lead process development and optimization efforts that directly impact product performance and manufacturing efficiency. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in injection molding manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with process validation, statistical tools (SPC, DOE), and risk methodologies such as PFMEA and DFM.
  • Experience using CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Engineering Management.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction or product transfer in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, qualification, and optimization of injection molding processes, including tooling, process development, and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and equipment vendors to ensure technical alignment, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery of qualified processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation such as process specifications, validation protocols, control plans, and risk assessments.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, compliance, and successful product transfers.
  • Apply statistical tools and methodologies to monitor process capability, improve performance, and ensure data integrity.
  • Support measurement system selection, validation, and analysis, including Gage R&R and dimensional inspection strategies.
  • Provide design for manufacturability input using CAD tools, including part design, gating, tolerances, and material considerations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards in all manufacturing processes.
