The Automotive Business Unit at Analog Devices is seeking a customer-centric, strategic thinker with strong business acumen for the role of Strategic Marketing Manager in our Automotive Market Solutions Group, focusing on Electrification. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including business units, sales, system architecture and applications, corporate teams, and with automotive customers and ecosystem partners.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a unified Automotive voice in the industry for Electrification bringing together multiple relevant ADI business units including Powertrain and Battery Insights Platform.
  • Contribute to Automotive end market revenue attainment, SAM and share growth by aligning strategies and goals across business unit teams to achieve target revenue and growth plans.
  • Support technology cross-pollination to drive SAM and revenue growth, collaborating with other business units to integrate their non-automotive innovations into automotive applications.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of unified Automotive end market strategies and long-term goals to achieve business objectives across functions and business units.
  • Enhance data-driven decisions by driving cohesive market and customer insights across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop long-term ecosystem strategies, including strategic alliances and ecosystem talent growth.
  • Engage with customers and ecosystem partners to identify system requirements and challenges, translating problem statements into solutions comprising Automotive technologies and ADI signal chains.
  • Investigate and develop business in emerging end market applications to expand SAM and drive future growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Master's in Business Administration with an engineering background, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of industry experience, preferably with most focused on the Automotive sector, with roles in product marketing, applications, strategic marketing, or business development role, ideally within the semiconductor, electronics, or technology industries.
  • Experience in articulating system and technical concepts and value propositions to customers and discussing system requirements.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and a growth mindset to drive new business initiatives.
  • Ability to work across a large organization and collaborate with diverse teams, with an ability to manage by influence.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for customer and partner meetings as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong business acumen with awareness of best marketing, research, and business planning practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of technology solutions or applications in Automotive video/audio/ethernet connectivity technologies, Battery Management Systems, Automotive E/E.
  • Proven industry experiences working with Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and semiconductor manufacturers.
  • Experience in brand building.
  • Track record of working cross-functionally with business units, digital/ecommerce, ecosystem partners, and sales.
