About The Position

The role encompasses the management of medical/surgical patient care through implementation of the nursing process, supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care.

Requirements

• Current nursing license, state of California
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS
• Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage/prioritize/delegate patient care and complete work assignments and other duties, as assigned.
• For Oncology unit, San Antonio chemotherapy course and competency required within 6 months of hire/transfer into the unit followed by ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy course completed at 18 months.
