The Staff Pharmacist supports Revive Health’s mission by ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations. This role is responsible for prescription verification support, medication preparation, patient communication, collaboration with internal teams, and adherence to all legal and quality standards. The Staff Pharmacist also assists with inventory management and participates in an on-call rotation to support patient needs outside standard business hours.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active South Carolina Pharmacy Technician registration with the SC Board of Pharmacy.
  • Ability to read and interpret physician medication orders accurately.
  • Proficiency in data entry
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (phone, email, in-person).
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and triage requests in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • National certification (PTCB / CPhT) for State-Certified Pharmacy Technician status preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify incoming prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness.
  • Prepare, label, and dispense medications in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure accurate dosage, packaging, and documentation for all dispensed prescriptions.
  • Provide telephonic or online consultations to answer patient questions and support medication understanding and adherence.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly, professionally, and compassionately.
  • Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Support process improvements and uphold Revive Health’s standards for safety and patient care.
  • Conduct regular quality and safety checks to ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
  • Maintain accurate records consistent with pharmacy guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of medications and supplies.
  • Assist with ordering, restocking, and tracking inventory to prevent shortages.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every six weeks.
  • Respond to limited text messages (once in the evening and twice daily on weekends) to support urgent patient needs.
