The Commercial Technology Product Management team is at the heart of Rivian's journey, we're crafting the future of automotive adventure. Our team is focused responsible for driving sales growth, enhancing brand awareness, and our e-commerce commercial platform. We also build and improve best-in-class internal tools that streamline workflows, boost productivity, and enhance the customer experience for our sales, delivery, and service teams. We're looking for a motivated and experienced Staff Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of the tools and systems that support Rivian's Service & Support organization. You will play a critical role in empowering our frontline teams, from inbound call center agents to vehicle technicians, by providing them with the tools they need to complete their work efficiently. You will also be part of a team that is transforming the automotive adventure for thousands of customers.

  • Become an expert in our frontline operations: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze workflows within Service & Support to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Define and champion a product vision and strategy: Create a compelling roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals of improving operational efficiency and delivering a best in class customer experience.
  • Translate user needs into detailed product specifications: Work with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to define user stories and prioritize features that address critical needs.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle: Oversee the development, testing, and launch of internal tools, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Drive adoption and measure success: Develop strategies to encourage the adoption of new tools and features, and track key metrics to measure the impact of your products.
  • Embrace AI/ML: Research and evaluate opportunities to use AI/ML technologies to automate manual processes and enhance decision-making.
  • Collaborate effectively: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and service operations, to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Communicate effectively: Clearly articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • At least 7 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on building and scaling operational systems.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
  • Familiarity with various software development methodologies and technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills to influence stakeholders and motivate teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
