We are actively hiring for a Staff Product Manager within our Enterprise Payment Systems team! Join us and support CSAA IG in achieving our goals. As the Product Owner, you will be the key driver for ensuring that the team is delivering high-quality, business-focused software products that meet both user and organizational needs. You will act as the voice of the customer, prioritizing features, managing the product backlog, and partnering with the business to identify clear product requirements and expectations. In this role, you will work closely with The Product Manager, developers, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to define product features, prioritize tasks, and ensure the timely delivery of software solutions. Your ability to balance business goals with technical requirements, while fostering a collaborative environment, will be instrumental to the success of the team and the overall product development process.

Responsibilities

  • Defines the vision and sets the strategy for products that are typically of low or medium complexity.
  • Has accountability for all decisions related to the product.
  • Acts as a product SME: Understands business rules/logic associated with the products and ensures they are documented and maintained.
  • Determines and is actively participating in the appropriate user research activities.
  • Defines product KPIs and maintains and reports out on product analytics on an ongoing basis.
  • Regularly seeks out market data to develop points of view and make well-informed product decisions.
  • Works closely with UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Develops business cases to secure funding for new capabilities.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and technology partners to define scope and align on roadmap prioritization and release schedule.
  • Partners closely with change management, marketing, operations, and other involved teams to identify operational and user implications/impacts as part of release planning.
  • Acts as the liaison between business and engineering/delivery teams, representing the needs of the business while championing on behalf of the end user.
  • May write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and help define and document testing requirements for one or more scrum teams.
  • Supports and helps define the operational activities within the organization as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of previous product management experience.
  • Experience writing requirements in the form of user stories and collaborating with UX and engineering teams.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a Product Owner in an Agile Scrum environment, preferably in an IT or software development setting.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and product management best practices.
  • Experience managing multiple Scrum Teams and backlogs and working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex requirements to both technical and non-technical team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Billing, Payments and Insurance products.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and make data-driven decisions to support business goals.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.).
  • Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.).
