About The Position

What you'll do... Position: Staff Product Manager Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 Duties: Drive product lifecycle from requirements definition, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other launch efforts for advertisement products. Define vision and strategies for product family using domain expertise, and internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives. Conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new opportunities. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap. Develop and enhance products, manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks. Build collaborative relationships with key partners such as engineering, data science, marketing, sales, legal, and operations by driving priorities aligned to business goals by communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps and gaining buy-in from executive leadership. Work with engineering and data science teams to define requirements for technical system enhancements, machine learning models, measurement methodologies, data requirements, APIs, and UI/UX related changes. Partner with internal advertising sales teams and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and Walmart’s advertising clients. Evaluate the product quality and impact via quality assurance tests and detailed experiments, and re-design the solution, if necessary to deliver the best solution for shoppers and advertisers. Monitor the performance of launched products using analytical skills to understand their adoption and performance. Provide suggestions and necessary next steps to drive growth of the products. Provide overall direction to products by analyzing business objectives and customer needs. This position does not supervise employees. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related field and 2 years of experience in product management or related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related field and 5 years of experience in product management or related experience. Skills required: Experience performing customer research and competitive market analysis. Experience developing technical product roadmaps and product requirement documentations and specifications with detailed feature scopes. Experience prioritizing features by collaborating with Engineering and Data Science stakeholders to get Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for each feature. Experience building and launching technical products to solve customer challenges. Experience with marketing strategies and identifying customer segments in need of products. Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis testing, experimentation, and business reporting methodologies. Experience executing data analysis and data visualizations using Microsoft (MS) Excel and Tableau. Experience with coding languages: SQL and Python. Experience working with APIs (Application Program Interface) to understand the interaction between engineering systems. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $179,421/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
