Staff React Software Engineer
About The Position
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer with strong React expertise to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance frontend applications. In this role, you will act as a technical leader and strategic contributor, driving architectural decisions, influencing engineering standards, and ensuring the delivery of robust and maintainable solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into high-quality technical implementations. Beyond technical expertise, this role requires strong communication, proactivity, and ownership. You are expected to anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and actively guide teams toward better outcomes. Additionally, this is an AI-enabled engineering role. You should be comfortable leveraging AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to accelerate development, improve productivity, and enhance decision-making across the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building software applications
- 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript frameworks and libraries
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js
- Proven experience contributing to architecture decisions and technical leadership
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
- Strong experience in several of the following areas: Frontend Development: React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS Architecture: Component design, state management, scalable frontend patterns APIs & Integration: REST, GraphQL, or gRPC Databases: SQL and data interaction patterns DevOps & Tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) Containers & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP Testing & Quality: Unit testing and quality assurance practices Security & Performance: OWASP, OAuth, caching, optimization techniques AI-Enabled Development: Practical use of AI tools to enhance productivity and engineering workflows
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts
- High level of proactivity and ownership — anticipates problems and drives solutions
- Ability to influence and guide technical decisions across teams
- Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
