Staff Software Engineer - Back End Developer

Requirements
- 5+ years backend experience in Node.js using TypeScript
- Adv. knowledge of PostgreSQL, relational data design, and performance tuning Built and scaled modular, real-time backend systems
- Deep knowledge of RESTful API design, security, and reliability
- Production experience with cloud deployment platforms (preferably AWS)
- CI/CD and testing mindset with high code coverage
- Experience scaling systems into high-availability platforms
- Strong communication and documentation habits
- Experience integrating with 3rd party software (e.g. ERP/PLM tools)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend microservices using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build scalable APIs for internal tools and external integrations
- Optimize database queries and schema designs
- Drive towards an event driven asynchronous system
- Lead the modularization of our system into containerized microservices
- Drive improvement towards automated test coverage
