The Cloud Run team's mission is to accelerate the growth of new developers in Google. Cloud Run is Google Cloud Platform's (GCP) premium Serverless platform for running applications. Cloud Run is used by enterprises of all sizes to run mission critical systems. More recently, we’ve seen an exponential growth from AI-generated apps running on Cloud Run that are deployed using first-party products such as Gemini, Google AI Studio, Firebase, Colab and by the wider AI-assisted developer tooling ecosystem. Our team is shipping innovative platform features to help accelerate the onboarding of new developers to run modern applications and highly capable AI agents. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
• 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Experience with the AI Developer Ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and cross-functional leads from Product Manager (PM), technical leads, User Experience (UX), and program management to develop a roadmap for accelerating developer growth on Cloud Run.
• Lead the design and implementation of platform features to increase the developer adoption funnel.
• Remove onboarding frictions such as configuration complexity and latency.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends in AI and the developer ecosystem and influence product roadmaps to align with developer needs.
• Work with the team on shared responsibilities such as on-call.
