About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of innovative mobile applications that improve health and well-being on a global scale. This role will work with modern React Native and Golang-based technologies to build scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions integrated with bio wearable sensors. The successful candidate will provide both technical leadership and hands-on development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence architecture, design, and best practices. You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical strategy, and ensure software quality across multiple projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional hands-on software development experience.
  • Proven experience developing, shipping, and maintaining complex mobile applications.
  • Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native.
  • Hands-on experience with Swift, Kotlin, or Golang.
  • Strong understanding of cross-platform mobile application design, API design, performance, and scalability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Experience documenting architecture and design decisions.

  • Experience with event-driven architectures.

  • Willingness to learn new programming languages.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software solutions for a robust mobile platform.
  • Develop unit-testable, maintainable code and support best practices across projects.
  • Contribute to architecture and operational decisions in collaboration with architecture teams and product owners.
  • Identify and solve design and technology issues within existing systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to define API contracts and integration points.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and scalability.
  • Produce architecture and design documentation, and support code reviews and mentoring for junior engineers.
  • Drive team culture by supporting tooling, process improvements, and knowledge sharing.
