About The Position

Position Summary: As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Java and full stack development, you will serve as a technical leader, architecting, designing, and delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions for In-Club Shared Services platforms. You will drive key initiatives, mentor engineers, and shape the technology vision across teams, ensuring the delivery of world-class software solutions. About the Team: The Shared Services team develops standardized, reusable tools and components that integrate across multiple products, increasing efficiency and reducing costs. Our work enables other application teams to focus on their unique requirements while we deliver foundational services for Sam’s Tech.

Requirements

10+ years of hands-on experience building and designing large-scale, full stack systems
Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud platforms
Proven experience developing both backend and user-facing applications with React and React Native
Proficiency with Kubernetes, modern DevOps practices, and end-to-end deployment pipelines
Familiarity with messaging systems, SQL/NoSQL data stores, and distributed systems
A collaborative, hands-on technical leader with a passion for full stack development and solving complex problems
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy scalable, cloud-based Java services as a hands-on technical leader
Lead system design and make strategic architecture decisions across the full technology stack
Drive AI and GenAI initiatives from concept to production, contributing directly to code and solution delivery
Develop and maintain both backend services and user-facing applications using Java, React, and React Native
Enhance reliability through robust CI/CD, monitoring, and automation
Mentor engineers and elevate the technical standards across the team
Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver impactful, end-to-end solutions

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
