About The Position

Glen Park Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Staff Trainer to provide high-quality training and ongoing education to our caregivers, med techs, and other team members across all seven facilities. This role is critical to ensuring staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and compliance awareness needed to deliver exceptional care to our residents.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel frequently between multiple facilities in the Los Angeles area.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple training projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Education, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or senior living training highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of assisted living care protocols, HIPAA, and state licensing requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and deliver training programs for caregivers, med techs, and other staff members.
  • Travel between facilities to conduct in-person training sessions and observe staff performance.
  • Create and update training materials, guides, and protocols to ensure consistency across all communities.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding training sessions.
  • Assess staff competencies and provide coaching or corrective guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and gaps.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation of staff progress.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and best practices in senior care.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment for staff.
