About The Position

Composes daily staffing functions and processes timecard, attendance, and schedule updates for nursing employees as a support to Patient Care Services. Formulates and manages accurate staffing information for allocating nursing staff through the inpatient and critical care inpatient units. Assists in maintaining and documenting daily Inpatient and Staffing Huddles. Compiles timekeeping reports assuring accuracy and compliance to CMH policies or variance reports for scheduling. Creates and/or maintains databases and forms related to employees, schedules, and staffing for Patient Care Services. Participates in software updates and new software implementation regarding scheduling and timekeeping. Works as a team member and supports a teamwork philosophy.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years experience Healthcare-related experience, Customer Service, or Business Office experience.
  • High levels of multi-tasking in a high-volume atmosphere with constant phone contact required.
  • Education accepted in lieu of experience; Associates or above.
