Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development using C# in an engineering or equipment control environment.
  • Proven expertise in motion control systems, hardware integration, and equipment automation.
  • Experience with motion controller systems such as ETEL or ACS (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor or metrology tool operation and stage motion control.
  • Proficiency in debugging, code optimization, and hardware communication interfaces.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment software development or metrology system calibration.
  • Familiarity with robotics integration, camera control, and stage alignment algorithms.
  • Knowledge of ETEL or ACS motion controller APIs and related SDKs.
  • Exposure to real-time systems and multi-threaded application development.
  • Understanding of precision motion, feedback loops, and servo systems

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain C# applications for stage and motion control systems used in semiconductor metrology equipment.
  • Implement and optimize stage calibration, axis mapping, tip-tilt correction, and motion algorithms to achieve precision system performance.
  • Integrate software with motion controllers, cameras, encoders, and robotic subsystems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware communication, real-time control, and system synchronization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure seamless equipment functionality.
  • Participate in data collection, system testing, and calibration activities for metrology hardware.
  • Document software design, test procedures, and integration workflows according to engineering best practices.
  • Contribute actively to design discussions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
