About The Position

Impact XM is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staging Technician Lead to oversee the installation, dismantling, packing, and maintenance of exhibit structures and related components for trade shows and experiential events. The ideal candidate ensures projects are staged to the highest quality standards while supervising a team of employees and contractors, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining efficient operations both in-house and onsite. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, with 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
  • Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team collaboration skills and a customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Stage, install, dismantle, and repair exhibit structures and components for in-house and onsite projects.
  • Review staged projects for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with blueprints and specifications.
  • Coordinate contractor assignments, including inventory, cleaning, repairs, and assembly.
  • Operate forklifts and aerial lifts (e.g., scissor lifts) safely and efficiently.
  • Analyze and resolve project issues independently or in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate time, production, and project records.
  • Supervise employees and contractors, including hiring, training, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance.
  • Comply with company policies and federal health and safety regulations.
