2nd shift Stamping Press Operator Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma preferred AND; 1 year of job-specific experience OR; related experience AND possess demonstrated physical capability; ability to work safely as a team, contribute to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale efforts. Troubleshooting and machine related skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Check and Sign Daily Paperwork
Strong mechanical aptitude
Monitor quantity and quality of parts
Control the location of finished product
Repair parts as needed
Control empty totes and skids
Capable to perform any assigned tasks with limited supervision
Observe all safety rules and regulations
Monitor stamping equipment
Ability to recognize quality problems at early stages
Emergency repair of Stamping Dies and Assembly Dies
Complete Stamping and Fixture related service requests
Assist and support maintenance personnel when requested
5S Activity is accomplished in a timely manner
Maintain equipment in the Stamping area
Assist outside contractors
Crane and tow motor training required
All tasks must be completed in a timely and workman like manner
Demonstrate and display “can-do” attitude and feed forward a positive work environment
Understand and demonstrate the importance of teamwork
Assist production vacancies on all processes as needed
Support any unbalanced flows plant-wide, across all departments as needed
Overtime as required due to business unit needs
Other duties as assigned due to business unit needs
Training needs are based on IB Tech’s training matrix for this position, relevant to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems
