About The Position

Come Build Your Career at Pactiv Evergreen! Immediately Hiring Forklift Drivers! Minimum (2) two years of experience sit down. Preferred (1) year stand-up (reach truck) experience. Will consider candidates with forklift/clamp experience that may not have reach truck experience but are willing to learn. Candidates must learn how to operate the equipment as requested within their probation period. Compensation: Starting rate $20.79 an hour and $1.00 extra for night shift Forklift Driver available shift: 6:30PM to 6:30AM on a 2-2-3 shift Requirements and Qualifications: Forklift Drivers are an important part of our manufacturing teams. As a Forklift Driver you will be responsible for operating a lift in order to keep production operating smoothly. Responsibilites include: Moving and transferring materials and finished goods in a high volume production environment. All transferring must be performed with a high degree of accuracy and accountability and in accordance with the established standard processes and procedures. All duties performed with focus on safety. Follow all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, policies. Effectively perform all duties as outlined in the Operations Lift Truck Operator standard work. Excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service to internal and external customers on a daily basis. Assist others in daily assignments. Ability to work within a team and build good relationships. Ensure that assignments are completed in a timely manner. Perform daily inspection of forklifts. Support SAP functions as related to inventory and load management (IE. Pick list, PGI). Qualifications: Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is required. Experience on a stand-up or reach lift is preferred. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to move heavy loads with a pallet jack. Must be able to complete Material Order Forms. Need to read and interpret Job Dockets Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essential; Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed.
