About The Position

Starting Gate Driver

Location: Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025

Schedule: Part-time shifts include weekends and holidays.

Pay:$200-$800 per week

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have excellent depth, and distance perception
• Must be able to steer the vehicle properly
• Must be able to work closely with the starter
• Must be able to work weekend and holidays
• Must be able to work in summer weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving the starting gate truck at the start of races in a manner that is consistent with the requirements needed to provide a good and fair start for each race
• Responsible for cleaning gates as needed; inside and out
• Responsible for keeping the vehicles fueled and the oil changed
• Responsible for assisting as needed in the event of a racing accident
