GENERAL SUMMARY Reporting to the PM Plant Services shift lead, this position will be responsible for all activities associated with the sanitation of food processing equipment, facility hygiene and master cleaning assignments. Team members are expected to follow GMP's, chemical dilution and mixing procedures, appropriate wear of PPE, follow lockout tag out procedures and pass all required training. The core hours for this role are 2:30–6:30 PM , though we can offer a different consistent four‑hour daily schedule if needed.

Requirements

Must be able to appropriately mix and use chemicals according to label instructions.
Fall protection, aerial lift, confined space and lockout training is mandatory to stay in good standing in the position.
Applicants must be able to speak, read, and understand English to safely and effectively perform the essential functions of the role.
Must have obtained high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

preferred to have production line manufacturing experience or to have food service and food handling experience

Responsibilities

Sanitation of food processing equipment in accordance with established SSOP's (sanitation standard operating procedures)
Cleaning includes end of production and end of week cleaning, equipment changeovers, facility sanitation and master cleaning assignments
Appropriately mix and use chemicals according to label instructions
Housekeeping tasks will include general janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper towel dispensers, operating auto floor scrubbers throughout the facility and other tasks as assigned by the Plant Services Supervisor or Plant Services PM Lead
