This position is 12pm (noon) - 8:30pm. Monday through Friday, no call or weekends. Eligible for evening pay differential and overtime. Job Summary Full Time, 40 hours per week, 12pm (noon) - 8:30pm. Summary Responsible for the delivery of Case Carts and Endoscopes to specific locations within the hospital. Responsible for inventory counts of OR peel pouches.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Central Sterile work experience 0-1 year preferred
- Work experience with Inventory Control Systems 0-1 year preferred
- Understands and follows all I C.A.R.E. Standards.
- Able to work independently.
- Works as a “Team” member.
- Basic computer skills required.
Responsibilities
- Performs safe, effective, and compliant transport of instrumentation and endoscopes throughout the hospital.
- Performs inventory counts of OR peel pouches.
- Assists with unloading washer/disinfectors.
- Assists with departmental cleaning practices.
- Performs as part of an interdepartmental perioperative team, to include effective communication and collaboration with interdepartmental teammates.
