About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician II responsible for the decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role ensures all instruments meet quality and safety standards to support efficient surgical operations.

Requirements

• CRCST Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent sterile processing experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization processes
• Experience with instrument tracking systems
• Ability to assemble surgical trays using count sheets
• Ability to lift, push, and move equipment as needed
• Comfortable handling chemicals and detergents
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, decontamination, and disinfection of surgical instruments, endoscopes, and equipment
• Inspect, assemble, and package general and specialty instrument trays per standards
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, ensuring proper documentation and quality control
• Maintain accurate records using instrument tracking systems
• Prepare and dispatch surgical case carts based on OR schedules and preference cards
• Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA safety standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report damaged or missing instruments
• Support inventory management, stocking, and supply distribution
