About The Position

Responsible for safe and efficient operation of vessel's galley.

Requirements

  • HW, School Graduate or equivalency certification minimum.
  • Merchant Mariner's Document required.
  • Minimum 2 years general work experience related to the maritime field with at least six months experience as a lead chef or equivalent.
  • Must be eligible for secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares all menus and meals.
  • Procures all materials associated with hotel services.
  • Orders and Inventories all foods and food service materials.
  • Ensures safe, dean and efficient operation of the galley and ensures cleanliness of passenger quarters.
  • Assists In the safe and efficient operation of vessel as directed by ship's officers.
  • Any other duties as required by the supervising officer.
