About The Position

Receives and stocks food and beverage products in walk-in refrigerators, freezers or storeroom. Fills purchase requisitions and delivers products to the food and beverage venues, kitchens, lounges and bars. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED certification.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in warehousing, inventory control or in a related position involved in the shipping, receiving and storage of equipment, materials and supplies.
  • One (1) year supervisory experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
  • Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Knowledge of Windows based computer systems and software.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Database management skills.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
  • Knowledge of Casino requisition and invoicing procedures.
  • Knowledge of clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the general public and Resort & Casino staff.
  • Ability to make basic arithmetic calculations.
  • Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene.
  • Ability to write and prepare standard reports and documents.
  • Knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food/drink preservation.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all areas are maintained and adequately stocked.
  • Ensures product is rotated properly, First in First Out (FIFO), oldest product to the front, newest to the rear.
  • Tracks orders and investigates problems.
  • Ensures correct product is received and meets requirements regarding temperature, quality, and appearance.
  • Pulls and delivers products according to requisition requests from various venues and ensures that paperwork is processed according to policy.
  • Assists with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments; ensures accuracy of shipment against purchase order and packing slips.
  • Ensures inventory merchandise is stocked in the proper location.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in building a cohesive working relationship with co-workers and internal/external contact.
  • Performs additional duties as necessary.
