About The Position

ABOUT THE ROLE The Parts Puller works in the stock room where they receive, unpack, arrange and store goods, and gather, pack, prepare and load goods for dispatching. Stock Room Workers check stock for damage and wear, report faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and mark and label stock. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment. Accepting delivery of inventory. Counting and confirming inventory. Inspecting inventory for damage and faults. Ordering replacement parts. Communicating errors to relevant parties. Marking and labeling stock. Storing inventory in accessible manner. Performs Nail and Staple Gun repairs. Mans the stock room to provide tools and supplies to employees. Track employee tool/supply orders and purchases. Occasionally will go off-site to pick up materials and plant supplies or transport other employees.

Requirements

  • Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse.
  • Completion of background investigation and drug screening.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Good moral character.
  • Physically strong, agile and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
  • Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
  • Available to work extended hours.
  • Possess basic construction knowledge and comfortable using basic tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Ability to work in groups as well as alone
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve in a high-volume
  • You must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with other Team Members
  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing to a significant degree
  • Heavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, to communicate to employees as well as function safely around construction equipment
