Primary Purpose: Under the direction of Maintenance Manager/Maintenance Supervisor, the Stockroom Lead is responsible for supporting all operations of the stockroom. They are responsible for supporting plant inventory levels and control, spare parts, and cost savings opportunities. This person will also serve as a liaison to the central maintenance stock room lead to help drive KHMS initiatives and processes. Job Responsibilities: Inventory & Reporting: · Accountable for meeting KHMS requirements as per the Maintenance, Reliability, and Engineering (MRE) Pillar. · Ensure compliance with corporate metrics for KHMS stockroom inventory value. · Generate weekly reports on stockroom inventory, requisitions, past-due POs, cycle count accuracy (weekly and YTD), overstock value, bill of materials compliance, and inventory turns. · Ensure YTD cycle count accuracy meets or exceeds 95% compliance. Systems & Compliance: · Responsible for QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards, following the Escalon QRMP accountability document. · Ensure compliance with KHMS standards and Safety, Health, and Environmental policies. · Handle Customer Service/Parts Issuance using SAP—inputting, verifying, and displaying data. Inventory Management: · Drive continuous improvement in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) cost reduction, and inventory control. · Supervise receiving, and PO processes; maintain accurate stockroom records. · Lead cycle counts, inventory organization, and parts repair tracking. · Identify MRO cost reduction opportunities and reverse engineering/CAE opportunities. · Manage write-off processes for excess inventory as needed. · Serve as an SAP buyer and use software (Currently Sphera) to create new SAP part numbers as backup. · Follow processes and maintain consistent inventory management practices. Team Development & Leadership: · Mentor and develop Shift Teams by serving as a technical resource. · Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes. Must report and/or correct unsafe acts or conditions (BOS/QRP) as well as perform work safely, including following GMP and PPE guidelines. · Validate work, correct errors, and manage daily, monthly, and yearly inventories. · Attend maintenance management meetings and communicate relevant updates. · Assist with managing SMC employees time and personnel issues. · Participate in corporate-driven projects. Logistics & Support: · Insure supplies are delivered to departments as needed and maintain consignment parts. · Track POs and follow up on outstanding orders; assemble and communicate PM kits. · Manage inbound materials, verifying receipt and ensuring timely distribution. · Maintain a clean and orderly work area. · Use email, word processing, Excel, and other software to manage daily tasks. · Support Maintenance department in purchasing and accounts payable concerns. · Maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring records are accurate and concerns are resolved. Additional Responsibilities: · Perform all other duties as assigned. · Flexibility to work in different business units, shifts, and during after-hours/weekend emergency services to expand business knowledge.
