Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Storage Performance Engineer to drive the best possible storage performance both within Vultr Cloud Storage products and the systems consuming that storage. The ideal candidate is well versed in performance tuning and benchmarking methodologies with regard to both storage and systems. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require extensive experience with Linux kernel, networking stack, and storage protocol performance tuning on the client side as well as design and performance of storage system architectures, particularly with Ceph.
