Competitive Base Pay: The target starting pay for this position will be at the entry point of the range, at $33.05. The pay range of $33.05 to $40.00 per hour allows our employees room for growth through annual increases and promotion potential. When You'd Work: This is a full-time position, with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of a 40 hours per week. Open availability needed. Job Description: Practice, provide, and inspire others to create a happy, educational, and fun experience for all who visit our stores Strive to continuously grow and develop in an education-rich environment, focusing on dogs, cats, and small animals’ health and nutrition Lead by example, train and mentor staff to help contribute to sales growth by continuously providing great customer experience through conversations that focuses on finding solutions and graciously fulfilling our customer’s needs Lead, train, and work with the team throughout the day, to maintain an inviting, attractive store by continuously cleaning, organizing, receiving, rotating, restocking, and facing inventory Perform transactions at the point of sale, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and other financial procedures accurately and efficiently Contribute to the team’s growth, development, and overall performance by creating strong relationships built with fair delegation, encouragement, empowerment, and frequent communication Contribute to community presence by creating and developing relationships with neighboring businesses, shelters, or residences Identify and hire excellent candidates to build a cohesive and successful team Desire to thrive in and adapt to different environments, communication styles, learning, and developmental needs with flexibility and an open mind Is comfortable with retail scheduling, including a variety of shifts Is able to work in a minimum of six locations
