Key Position Details: 0.5 FTE (40 hours per two-week pay period) 8 -hour day shifts (7:00am - 3:30pm) Every other weekend This person stocks the patient kitchen with snack and beverage items Job Description: This position is responsible for putting away deliveries and maintaining the storage areas or stocking the patient floor stock areas on the units.

Responsibilities

  • Floor Stocking Correctly stocks floor stock kitchens based on par lists and record accurately
  • Floor stock kitchens are clean and organized
  • Completes daily / monthly cleaning
  • Answers any floor stock phone calls or requests in a timely manner
  • Checks expiration dates and rotate product using FIFO
  • Returns stock items back to their original location
  • Maintains product at proper temp while stocking (milk)
  • Fills requisition orders accurately and communicate until shortages
  • Storage Maintains that ICC storage area is clean, neat and well organized at all times
  • FIFO used Standards – Everything 6” off the floor and 18” from the ceiling/sprinkler heads
  • Proper storage of chemicals and hazardous materials
  • Floors, walls and ceilings are in good condition.
  • Places product from all vendor deliveries into proper location
  • Follows HACCP guidelines for receiving, storing and handling of food
  • Receiving Checks in all deliveries
  • Signs invoices
  • Completes quality and temperature checks
  • Notifies management of any substitutes on orders and any other concerns
  • Safety Works in a safe manner
  • Engages in monthly safety training
  • Understands what information is on the safety board and how to report an injury
  • Chemical safety
  • Proper use of equipment
  • PPE knowledge and use
  • Completes Annual Allina Health Trainings
  • Proper disposal of anything with patient information
  • Follows food safety and security standards
  • Communication Communicates with managers, supervisors and co-workers regarding out-of-stock items and any issues with inventory or deliveries
  • AIDET Customer Service Communicates with nursing and other departments
  • Relays pertinent information to co-workers
  • Sanitation Maintains that storage areas are clean and free of debris at all times (including coolers and freezers)
  • Signs cleaning log daily
  • Cleaning dock elevator area
  • Cleans as you go
  • Follows proper standards for Personal and Hand Hygiene
  • Other duties as assigned.
