About The Position

Assist with receiving of incoming product. Insure product is stored in its proper location. Issues product to the various departments, maintain storeroom for cleanliness, and assist with the inputting info into the I.P. system. Assist with inventories. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and a minimum of 3 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position involves driving a company vehicle and/or company insured vehicle. A valid driver’s license is required, along with successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines. Follow safe, defensive driving practices at all times, obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings, use a seat belt, and follow Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy. Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely, report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations. Responsible for maintaining food supplies in the Storeroom; in a clean and organized manner. Rotate all merchandise to maintain freshness. Maintain walk in boxes in a clean an orderly manner. Assist with period end food inventory. Input information into the inventory/purchasing system (EATEC). Insure floors are swept and mopped on a daily basis or as often as needed. Receive food product and put in storage boxes or shelves. Good work ethic, moral integrity and able to get along with many personalities. Must have knowledge of Food Storage Must have excellent computer skills and ability to learn and retain information. Must withstand cold temperatures Must work varied shifts Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to drive small trucks and vans.
