Position Summary: The Inventory/Stores Mechanic will support both the material requirements planning and general requisitioning process.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Forklift experience required
- Receiving experience required
- Inventory Management and industrial experience required
- CMMS/ERP experience; SAP preferred
- Microsoft Software skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining SAP parts, creating SAP numbers for newly created parts, and running MRP to reorder parts for Line 2 Storeroom
- Label with SAP number
- Store in the appropriate location
- Process Yellow Cards for parts pulled
- Organize Tent for storage/housekeeping/shelf assignments
- Perform cycle counts as required/assigned.
- Process Line 2 planning reservations created by maintenance.
- Backup Plant Storeroom attendant in his absence, performing all necessary duties.
- Capital Expense Items to be received and stocked.
- Line 2 ordering support:
- Goods: GR Place/pickup from receiving Handle discrepancies
- Services: Kerns Sunbelt ICS A&D Tormod SRE
- Enter Service Entries
- Other job duties as assigned from time to time.
