About The Position

The Role The Strategic Business Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data‑driven decision‑making across GPSC by identifying, analyzing, and translating complex supply chain risks into actionable business insights. This role partners closely with Purchasing, Creativity Teams, and enterprise risk functions to assess emerging risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support leadership through clear analysis, structured frameworks, and strategic recommendations. The position blends analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and cross‑functional collaboration to strengthen end‑to-end supply chain resiliency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, value chain engineering, risk management, or related analytical roles.
  • Experience developing and delivering formal presentations, reports, and/or training materials.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex analysis clearly—from strategic intent to tactical implications—across leadership forums, team settings, and one‑on‑one discussions.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical problem‑solving, and ability to operate with autonomy in ambiguous environments.
  • Proven project management skills, including prioritization, deadline management, and cross‑functional coordination.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and synthesis capabilities.
  • Ability to influence without authority and facilitate alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Drive for results and ability to lead change in complex, evolving environments.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to challenge the status quo to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze multiple internal and external risk signals to identify, prioritize, and communicate business‑critical supply chain risks and opportunities.
  • Consolidate enterprise risk information into clear, decision‑ready insights that support leadership planning, trade‑off discussions, and strategic direction setting.
  • Develop structured business analyses, scenario assessments, and executive‑level narratives that connect risk exposure to operational, financial, and strategic impact.
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of enterprise risk and resiliency tools that enable consistent analysis and reporting across GPSC.
  • Establish and manage a repeatable, systemized approach for tracking risk indicators, signposts, and mitigation effectiveness across Purchasing and Creativity Teams.
  • Document risks, assumptions, mitigation plans, and changes to ensure traceability, governance, and transparency.
  • Coordinate with Creativity Teams, SMTs, and enterprise risk partners to translate identified risks into aligned mitigation strategies and business recommendations.
  • Partner with GPSC Enterprise Risk & Resiliency Management to ensure material risks are escalated appropriately and monitored at the enterprise level.
  • Support third‑party resiliency engagements by synthesizing external insights and integrating them into internal strategic analyses.
  • Design and facilitate scenario planning and tabletop exercises to test organizational readiness and inform leadership response strategies.
  • Develop playbooks and strategic response frameworks for high-impact risk scenarios (e.g., geopolitical disruptions, pandemics, regulatory changes).
  • Plan, organize, and deliver clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and presentations for leadership, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into practical guidance that enables both strategic decision‑making and tactical execution.
  • Develop processes, documentation, and training materials to strengthen analytical maturity and cross‑functional integration across the supply chain.
