The Strategic Finance team at Genesys partners with senior leadership to drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the company. We lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, and executive reporting, delivering insights that support Genesys’ strategic priorities. This Strategic Finance Manager role will support the HR & Facilities organizations and serve as a key finance partner to business leaders, including close collaboration with the Chief People Officer. The role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys owning core planning processes, delivering high-quality analysis, and growing as a strategic business partner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in corporate finance, consulting, or accounting environments.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outputs.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with both finance and non-finance partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting HR, Benefits, Payroll, or Facilities functions.
  • Exposure to SaaS or Cloud-based business models.
  • Experience with financial planning, ERP, and reporting tools (e.g., Adaptive, Workday).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the day-to-day finance partner for HR & Facilities leaders, supporting financial decision-making through analysis and insight.
  • Own the budgeting and forecasting processes for headcount, payroll, benefits, and non-labor expenses.
  • Partner with HR, Facilities, and business leaders to support execution of functional plans and initiatives.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses, financial bridges, and management presentations for senior leadership.
  • Support executive and investor-facing reporting by providing accurate and timely financial analysis.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including accrual preparation and coordination with accounting.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across multiple sources and systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses and projects to inform leadership decisions.
