About The Position

CGI is seeking an experienced and successful commercial sector business developer across multiple verticals in the Boston metro. This role is instrumental in strengthening CGI's market positioning, accelerating large deal cultivation, enhancing executive relationships, and expanding the visibility and adoption of CGI's services and intellectual property (IP) assets. The ideal individual will have deep local market experience selling transformative IT deals. You'll bring CGI solutions and thought leadership to clients, thrive in a collaborative global environment, and be motivated by growing the Boston BU business. This is a highly visible role requiring executive presence, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence both client and internal leadership stakeholders. This position is based in our Burlington, MA office.

Requirements

  • Business Development Expertise: At least 10 years of experience in defining, selling, and delivering complex technology and business solutions in a consulting environment, with a strong track record in business development and strategic deal closure.
  • Extensive experience leading the strategy for large diverse capture teams focused multi-year, multi-hundred million to multi-billion dollar deals
  • Proven success supporting or cultivating large, complex, IT Outsourcing deals.
  • Strong knowledge of solution positioning leveraging technology services and IP assets.
  • Executive Relationships: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain C-suite and senior executive relationships in the Boston metro.
  • Strategic Thinking and Decision Making: Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives that drive business growth with minimal guidance.
  • Communication and Presence: Strong presence, self-awareness, and communication skills across all organizational levels, including public speaking and thought leadership.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel as needed largely in New England.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development and Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts, leading strategic pursuits and guiding proposal building to create tailored business solutions. Maintain a strong track record of winning opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with C-level client executives, aiming to become their trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.
  • Solution Design and Execution: Collaborate with solution architects and SMEs to design, propose, and execute solutions for complex client problems, leveraging creativity and experience in advanced business and technology environments.
