Strategic Mobility and Transportation Specialist The Opportunity: As an Operations Group (OPSGRP) Logistician and Strategic Mobility and Transportation Specialist, your unique skill set inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to help solve some of our customers’ most complex global mobility and transportation problem sets and find solutions that keep our nation safe. As a Strategic Mobility and Transportation Specialist on our team, you’ll bring your transportation and mobility expertise to determine and assess operational deployment readiness, capabilities, and requirements to advise and collaborate with senior leaders in multinational, Joint, Army, and commercial agencies throughout the Joint Logistics Enterprise on projects for unit movement operations. You’ll use your skills as you plan, organize, and supervise the preparation and execution of unit movement and deployment or redeployment operations in support of training exercises throughout the Pacific. Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience executing Mobilization Operations, Deployments Operations, Sustainment Operations, Redeployment Operations, Combat Training Center (CTC) rotations, Deployment Readiness Exercises (DRE), and Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) events in support of exercises at the Army Service Component Command (ASCC) or Theater Army level and below
  • Experience incorporating and applying the use of ATP 3-35, AR 525-93, FORSCOM 55-1, and ATP 5-2-1
  • Experience working at or with an Installation Transportation Office (ITO), Corps Transportation Office (CTO), Division Transportation Office (DTO), or Composition III (COMPO III) Deployment and Distribution Support Teams (DDST)
  • Knowledge of the Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES)
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Associate’s degree
  • Completion of an Air Load Planners (ALP) or ICODES Joint Air Load Planners (JALP) Course, Air Movement Operation Course, Joint Operations Planning and Execution (JOPES) Action Officer Course, and Hazardous Material Certification Course
  • Completion of 882A Mobility Warrant Officer Advanced Course

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an air load planner
  • Experience with Airlift Integration Interface (A2I) for air load planning and validation
  • Experience with Improved Computerized Deployment System (ICODES)
  • Experience with Automated Air load Planning System (AALPS)
  • Experience with Computer Aided Loading Manifesting System (CALM) and Computerized Movement Planning and Status System (COMPASS)
  • Experience in Automated Command and Control Information System (ACCIS), ACCIS-Air Load Module (ALM), Automate Air Load Planning System (AALPS), Air Movement Flow Table (AMFT), Movement Tracking System (MTS), Worldwide Port System (WPS), and Single Mobility System (SMS) TRANSCOM System
  • Knowledge of TC-AIMS II introduction, access, and functions
  • Bachelor’s degree a preferred; Master’s degree a plus
  • AMMO-62 Hazardous Material Certification
  • Completion of Army Transportation School TC-AIMS II Course
