About The Position

As a nationwide leader in third‑party logistics (3PL), we are expanding our sales organization to meet growing customer demand across transportation, warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and supply-chain services. We’re seeking a motivated, relationship‑driven Strategic Partnership Manager who will help accelerate new business growth and strengthen strategic partnerships nationwide. Reporting directly to our VP of Partnership, this role is central to expanding our footprint, building long-term customer relationships, and driving revenue through high‑value 3PL solutions.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in 3PL sales, freight brokerage, logistics solutions, transportation sales, or supply‑chain partnerships.
  • Proven success generating new revenue in a competitive logistics environment.
  • Strong understanding of 3PL operations—including freight modes, warehousing, fulfillment workflows, and supply‑chain challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Comfortable managing a national sales territory and self‑directing priorities.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships with shippers, carriers, or logistics decision‑makers.
  • Experience with tech-enabled or integrated logistics solutions.
  • Background scaling multi‑regional 3PL operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and secure new 3PL customers across transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, and supply chain services.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Partnerships to build sales strategies and expand partner‑driven revenue channels.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution design, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
  • Work cross‑functionally with operations, carrier relations, account management, and finance to ensure seamless onboarding and service execution.
  • Build trusted relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, ecommerce brands, and enterprise clients across the U.S.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM systems.
  • Attend industry trade shows, logistics conferences, client site visits, and partner events.
  • Additional special projects may include operational support pertaining to compliance, customer layout, etc.
