About The Position

Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. As our Strategic Partnerships Associate, you will play a key role in building and scaling the partnerships that accelerate Profound's position as the definitive platform for AI search optimization. Working closely with our Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will support and execute across the full partnership lifecycle — from research and outreach to activation and ongoing relationship management.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, investor relations, or value creation roles within investing firms (e.g., VC/PE portfolio value creation, deal sourcing, or ecosystem development)
  • Deep understanding of the AI landscape, including experience with LLM providers, AI platforms, search technologies, and the broader AI application layer
  • Independent, original thinker with high standards, a bias for action, and the ability to collaborate effectively within organizational constraints
  • Clear, confident communicator — both written and verbal — with the ability to represent Profound credibly with external partners
  • Bias for action and a builder's mentality — you're comfortable operating in ambiguity and figuring things out as you go

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
  • Understanding of SEO, content marketing, or brand management is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute strategic partnerships across product partnerships with AI platforms and marketing technology or B2B software companies
  • Support outreach and early-stage engagement with prospective partners, including VC/PE networks, co-selling partners, and AI platform companies
  • Assist in the evaluation, structuring, and execution of partnership agreements
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, and Sales to drive partnerships and integrations from concept through launch
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for a defined set of partners, supporting QBRs and regular check-ins
  • Support joint marketing initiatives, co-selling motions, and customer enablement programs
  • Partner internally on partnership announcements, case studies, and thought leadership content
  • Build and maintain landscape maps of the AI ecosystem and stay ahead of platform changes, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics
