It also helps align operational activities with strategic objectives by maintaining accurate and timely reporting.  

Requirements

  • Typically requires a 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
  • Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
  • Strategic Planning - Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy.
  • Corporate Development Strategies - The actions and plans that organizations undertake to enhance growth, competitiveness, and value creation.
  • Data Analysis - Measuring and managing organization data, identifying methodological best practices and conducting statistical analyses.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions - Mergers and acquisitions are transactions in which the ownership of companies, other business organizations, or their operating units are transferred or consolidated with other entities.
  • Commercial Negotiation - The planning, reviewing, analysis and other activities that a buyer and seller conduct to reach an agreement.
  • Project Management - The process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.
  • Market Analysis - Analyzing competing products, services, and organizations in the external business environment.
  • Relationship Management - Activities undertaken to improve business relationships.
  • Financial Modeling and Valuation - Designing mathematical models and analyzing data to estimate the financial performance and value of a company or investment, involves analyzing historical financial data, projecting future scenarios, and applying valuation methods to determine fair value.
  • Investment Due Diligence - The process of extensive and intensive research to evaluate an investment decision, considering all possibilities and verifying the information used it involves looking into the background, financial history, and details of an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Performs preliminary analysis of business unit data for alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Prepares draft reports highlighting key observations.
  • Supports scenario modeling and forecasting activities.
  • Coordinates input from multiple departments for integrated plans.
  • Assists in preparing materials for executive presentations.
  • Tracks progress of initiatives and updates dashboards.
  • Suggests improvements to data collection and reporting processes.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive planning information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
